I am a professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Auburn University. I am also the chair of the department.
My research involves developing robust nonparametric statistical procedures for various types of models. Much of my recent theoretical work has been on rank-based estimation and model selection for semiparametric models as well as estimation of semiparametric models in the presence of missing data. I also collaborate with various research groups working on understanding the effect of global climate change on ecology and water resources.
