GTA Fellows Train Communication GTA’s

(Last Updated On: July 8, 2014)

On Friday, November 9th, the inaugural year GTA Fellows trained 17 GTA’s from the Communication department on campus. The training consisted of a variety of topics: teacher behavior checklist, problems in the classroom, active learning and discussion strategies, and open discussions about specific concerns. The two hour session  involved group work and collaboration. The Communication GTA’s were engaged, highly interactive, and enthusiastic about this professional development opportunity.

The GTA fellows are available for trainings like this in any department on campus. The topics can be adjusted to specific departmental needs.
