Instructure, the maker of Canvas, has announced five $10,000 grants being made available to colleges and universities to promote innovation in classroom content, techniques, and tools. In addition, they will award ten $5,000 grants to K-12 institutions. As per the their Educause 2013 conference announcement:
Instructure, the maker of the Canvas learning management system and the Canvas Network MOOC platform, is awarding $100,000 in grants to K-12 and higher education institutions. The grants are being offered as part of Instructure’s effort to promote technological innovation within education by rewarding promising technology programs and initiatives.
Submissions should be made at Instructure’s website. The deadline for grant proposals is January 20, 2014.
