How does my college/unit get a channel on Public AU iTunes?

How does my college or unit get AU iTunes Unit Support Personnel (USP)?

Up to 2 individuals may be assigned these roles from each college or unit. Each will need to be familiar with iTunes and with creating and uploading podcasts. Each will be asked to attend a brief orientation session with Instructional Technology.

Can I podcast my lectures on Public AU iTunes?

Yes, but the whole world (literally) will have access to them.

How do I create a podcast, how do I vodcast my PowerPoint presentations?

There are several ways: Instructional Technology offers a variety of Workshops each semester or you can contact us directly to schedule a time to learn more about instructional technologies at Auburn.

Do I have to have an Apple computer to create a podcast?

No. You can create podcasts on any device.

What file formats will work in AU iTunes? How about filesize?

• Audio files: M4A (AAC) or MP3
• Video files: Anything with h.264 compression– MP4, M4V, MOV
• No single file larger than 1GB
