How to Bulk Copy or Move Videos in Panopto

Begin in the course that currently contains the videos that you are trying to copy or move. On the left-hand side, locate and click the navigation option labeled Panopto Recordings. Then, navigate to the top-right of your screen and click the small arrow icon. This will launch Panopto in a new tab with more available options.

Check the small box next to each video you would like to copy/move. The area around it will turn green when selected.

To check all videos in a folder, check the box next to the “Sort By” option. You can then uncheck any that you do not need.

Checking either of these boxes will bring up new options to modify your videos, including Copy, Move, and Share. Ensure that the correct videos are selected, then click the Move icon at the top of your screen.

A pop-up will appear with a drop-down menu. Click the drop-down menu, then find the course you want to copy/move the videos into and select it. You can either click it from the list or begin typing the name of your course.

Once selected, verify that the “Move session(s) to” area at the top directs to the appropriate course.

Click the green Move icon.

Once the recordings have finished moving, confirm that there is a green check mark next to the video titles. This means they have been copied/moved successfully.
