Automatic Zoom to Panopto
Would you like your Zoom Cloud Recordings automatically transferred to Panopto? Using the Zoom-to-Panopto feature, you can make this happen. There are a few steps to get started:
- Enable Zoom and Panopto in your courses
- Create your Zoom meeting(s) that will be mapped to your Panopto folders
- Choose which Zoom recordings will go to which Panopto folders, following the instructions in the “Mapping Your Folders” section below
Mapping Your Folders
Once automatic Zoom Cloud to Panopto Recording has been enabled, you will want to choose which Zoom meetings are moved to which Panopto folders. This is called “mapping”. To begin, click on Panopto (1) in one of your Canvas courses and click on the arrow (2) to open the full Panopto website.
On the Panopto website, click the small arrow to the bottom-right of your name (3) and the click the buttom from the drop down menu labeled “User Settings” (4).
Scroll down on the “Info” tab until you see “Zoom Recording Import Settings”, here you will click on “Add New” (5).
Enter the Zoom meeting ID number for your class session (6), then choose a folder from the drop down (7) and click the “Save” button (8).
