Zoom meetings are fully interactive with audio AND video. Others can SEE and HEAR you! Be advised of that especially if you are using a smartphone or tablet that has a camera. Always interact like you are actually at the location with the other participants, because you ARE!
Interactive Training is offered multiple times per week.
Archived training is also available.

In My Profile, you have the option to update your personal information such as – Profile picture- First name, Last name – Phone number- Company/organization name – Personal Meeting ID (Pro User) – Time zone.
You may also give other(s) “Scheduling Privilege” to your account. this will allow them to schedule meetings using your account
on your behalf.
Zoom assigns a random number as your PMI. You may change this number from your Profile to be any 10 digit number that has not already been taken. Many set it to be their office or Cell phone number so that it is easy to remember.
By Default when you start or schedule a meeting, Zoom will generate a RANDOM meeting number that will be included in the connection instructions. It will NOT use your PMI by default.
You MAY NOT want to give out your PMI to the public or others that you do not wish connecting to it. That PMI is permanent andwill always be available to connect to if someone knows or remembers it.
You can schedule meetings from the Zoom App/Client or from the http://auburn.zoom.us web interface.
The web interface will allow a few extra options within scheduling like “Alternative Host”. This option is helpful if you want to assign permissions to other(s) to be able to control or “host” your meeting.
Recurring Meetings: Recurring meeting ID numbers are valid for 365 days after the last occurrence of the meeting is started. Basically, if you continue to use that meeting ID, it will be permanent until you delete it from your scheduled meetings list. This type meeting is useful if you need to hold recurring meetings with others over a long period of time. The meeting ID will stay the same for each time you meet. You may setup multiple recurring meetings under your account. However two or more scheduled recurring meetings using your account cannot occur at the same time.
Non-Recurring Meetings: Non-Recurring meeting ID numbers are valid for 30 days the meeting is started. You may use this ID as many times as needed within that 30 days.
The meeting starts instantly and from within the meeting you invite others to join. Instant Meeting IDs are valid for 24-48 hours.
Only YOU or someone you give Alternative Host permissions will have full meeting control. This would include Moderation, and Recording capabilities. RECORD button and other controls, Mute, Video, Invite, Participants, Share Screen, Chat, End Meeting, etc. are at the bottom of the Zoom window. Recordings are saved to the hard drive on your local computer in .MP4 format. They can then be uploaded to Panopto or other platforms as required.
Attendee Controls: Mute, Video, Invite, Participant list, Raise Hand, Share Screen, Chat, Leave Meeting, etc. are at the bottom of the Zoom window.
Host Controls: Attendee controls plus Record, Participant Management, End Meeting, etc. are at the bottom of the Zoom window.
Auburn’s license does not cover cloud-based recording. All recordings done via Zoom are saved to the local machine. For help on finding your recording, please see the Zoom help page.

50 people maximum in each meeting.
No time limit on meetings BUT meetings will disconnect participants after 40 minutes of inactivity or if there is only one participant.
This does not delete the meeting ID. The meeting ID can be rejoined immediately if needed.
