Midterm season means high stress. Instead of coping with a bag of Cheetos or succumbing to a mental breakdown, try reading instead.

Studies show that reading is a powerful stress reducer. In fact, research suggests that a mere six minutes of reading can reduce stress levels by more than two thirds! That sounds like a stress-reducing tactic worth trying.

"But I don't have time to find a newspaper or go home to retrieve the book that's been sitting on my bedside table for a month," you might say. Not to worry. Last semester's issue of The Circle is now available online.

Don't let stress get the best of you! Read!
