Happy Friday, once again! On my end, this week wreaked havoc with a sick roommate, a postponed graduation date and a 2-question midterm in Spanish. Here are a few things that made me smile this week.
1. Beat Bama Food Drive
The Beat Bama Food Drive started on Monday of this week and will continue through November 25. The food drive accepts monetary donations as well as donations of canned goods. 35 donation barrels are located both on and off campus.
According to the BBFD website, the organization's mission is "to act on our belief in the basic human right of adequate nutrition, by providing ongoing support to the East Alabama Food Bank through raising awareness, educating a unified Auburn community, creating fund raising opportunities and collecting donations to actively fight food insecurity in East Alabama."
Laugh, cry, squeal. It gets me every time.
3. 20 Reasons Your Life if Just Like "Regular Show"
This BuzzFeed article almost hits a little too close to home. If anything, "Regular Show" epitomizes the life of a twentysomething, my own included. Now go grab a whole wheat donut and read the d article.
4. Lysol disinfectant spray
When your roommate has been struck down by strep, you can't get enough of this stuff.
5. Road Trips
Although summer may be farther off than we'd like to admit, planning a summer road trip is fun no matter what time of year it is. Pick a destination, research stops along the way and make a playlist. You're one step closer to an unforgettable summer.
