The Auburn Tiger’s face off against new opponents with two home games this Friday and Saturday at the Columbus Ice Rink. They will be playing the Georgia State University Panthers for the first time in the both of the club’s histories. GSU is a newly formed ice hockey club for the 2011-2012 season. Both teams will be coming off of losses, with Auburn losing against Arkansas two weekends ago and GSU losing against Georgia and Florida last weekend.
The first game will be Friday, October 21 and the puck drops at 8:30 pm EST. The second game of the weekend will be Saturday, October 22 at 9:30 am EST. Tickets will be sold at the door and are $5 for adults, $4 for students with ID, and kids 8 and under are free.
This will be the only match-up between the Tigers and the Panthers this season.
