The Forest Ecology Preserve and the City of Auburn hosted Family Fun Day at the Preserve from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 7. Over 500 attendees enjoyed the event, held in conjunction with National Trails Day on Saturday, June 7. Family Fun Day festivities included an interactive show by DR Magic, music by Spicer’s Garage Band, live animal encounters, a photo shoot with JRogers Photography, Art in Nature with the Jules Collins Smith Museum, children’s activities and face painting at the nature playground, and discovery hikes.
Family Fun Day was made possible by the Auburn-Opelika Tourism Bureau, Chick-fil-A Magnolia Avenue, Earth Fare, and Kona Ice. The Forest Ecology Preserve and Nature Center is located at 2222 N.
