Forest Ecology Preserve Hosts Wolves Program Saturday, June 8th

The Louise Kreher Forest Ecology Preserve concluded its membership drive with a fascinating program by guest speaker, AU School of Forestry & Wildlife Sciences professor, Dr. Todd Steury. Preserve attendees learned more about this misunderstood canine, its tragic history and the present day conservation efforts underway to save them.

Forest Ecology Preserve extends its gratitude to Dr. Steury, as well as Charlotte Roe and Tom Shirley, who provided the nearly 400 attendees with the rare opportunity to visit with their two gray wolves, Sassy and Broken Arrow; as well as to all the volunteers who helped with the program.

The Preserve hosts community educational programs almost monthly. To learn more about upcoming programs, visit the Preserve interactive events calendar.
