CWE Parent Run

For the past 18 years, Dr. Doug Hankes has led a three-mile running tour of campus with other Auburn University faculty and staff members during each of the Camp War Eagle sessions.

The run starts at 6:00 am outside of the Auburn University Student Center in front of Starbucks.

As described in the CWE Parent Schedule:

You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll experience the full range of human emotion as you join psychologist, Dr. Doug Hankes (Director, Student Counseling Services), and other Auburn University faculty and staff members for an early morning run (3-3.5 miles) around Auburn’s beautiful, yet deceptively hilly campus. The pace varies according to the group (minimum 12 minutes per mile) but count on a sweaty, solid effort. The 2016 CWE sessions will mark the 19th anniversary for the run.
