Compass Circle, a Young Alumni Giving Society

The Compass Circle (CC) is a young alumni society launched in May of 2016. This society is an opportunity to return to your alma mater, re-connect with the school, and support the school in your first 15 years after graduation. The CC creates lasting benefits for the school, current students and alumni.  As a young alumni you will have the opportunity to help your school continue to strive for excellence and create your own legacy.

Strengthening the School of Forestry & Wildlife Sciences (SFWS)

Your membership will position you as a leader in annual, philanthropic giving among your fellow forestry and wildlife alumni, as well as increase Auburn’s national rankings by boosting our alumni participation rate. By joining within 15 years of earning your Auburn degree, you can consider one of three Compass Circle membership levels below — each with increasing benefits:

♦Invitation to the Dean’s Tailgate

♦Recognition in the school’s e-newsletter and on its website

♦Certificate of Compass Circle membership

All previously stated benefits, plus:

♦Set of SFWS leather coasters

♦Exclusive SFWS roundtable with the dean and select faculty

All previously stated benefits, plus:

♦A reserved tailgate spot in front of the SFWS Building*

♦Eligibility to lease a football season parking pass**

*(limited availability; priority given by contribution date)

                        ** (for an additional charge)

Easy. Your gift can be divided into workable monthly increments.

Beneficial. All gifts are tax deductible, and you will receive a summary of your annual gifts each year. Exclusive perks are given to alumni that give certain amounts each year.

Significant. Smaller payments that are made more frequently add up to a meaningful gift.

Secure. Automatic bank drafts are protected and safe.

DSC_0161“My wife Carolyn and I joined the CC because we want to support the scholarships and unparalleled education within the school. As a forester, I feel it is vital to support the future generations of our natural resource professionals. With three levels of giving and monthly payment options, there are opportunities for all young alumni to give back. Won't you join us in making a commitment to the success of the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences by becoming a Compass Circle member with us?” –Russell C. Miller ‘11
