Linked social and ecological systems, recreation, environmental services and conservation incentive programs, landowner decision-making, rural livelihoods and the process of interdisciplinary research. Research interests are for the US and Latin America.
Research Projects: 
Assessing the impact of Costa Rica’s environmental service payment program on landowner conservation and production decisions. How these decisions translate into the provision of environmental services.
