Miss Auburn Information
Each of Auburn’s student organizations, fraternities, sororities and residence halls have the opportunity to nominate a female, junior student for the position of Miss Auburn. Please see the portion of the code with specifics of the qualifications below. We request that you nominate before Nov. 7 in order to allow them time to attend an information session and prepare their platforms.
Information sessions are Nov. 7, 8 and 10, all at 8 p.m. in SC 2218. Nominees are strongly encouraged to attend an information session.
Nomination forms are due Friday, Nov. 11 at 5 p.m. Your nominee will fill out the form and sign up for their interview, but will need the president of the nominating organizations’ contact information. 704.4 Miss Auburn Qualifications
704.4.1 All Candidates must have at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average at Auburn University. (*ungapped, unadjusted)
704.4.2 Only undergraduate female students, including undergraduates enrolled in the Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing schools, who are currently in at least their third academic year are eligible to qualify for Miss Auburn. (*Academic policy defines this as having 60 completed hours)
704.4.3 All Candidates must be nominated to run for Miss Auburn. Each university-operated residence hall, social fraternity, social sorority, and organization recognized by Auburn University may nominate one prospective Candidate for Miss Auburn. Nomination forms are to be turned in on AUInvolve.

Campaign preparation begins – Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, at 8 p.m.
Initial materials due – Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, at 5 p.m. in the SGA workspace (SC Suite 3130)
Initial material pick-up – Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, in the SGA workspace (SC Suite 3130) (times vary by candidate)
Candidate orientation #2 – Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017, at 7:30 p.m. in SC 2222
Final materials due – Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, at 5 p.m. in the SGA workspace (SC Suite 3130)

Call outs – Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, at 10 p.m. on Cater Lawn
If there is a need for a runoff, the following schedule will be used:
Runoff campaigning – After call outs on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, until the end of voting on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, at 7 p.m.
Runoff voting – Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Runoff call outs – Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, at 10 p.m. on Cater Lawn
