It is truly an honor to have the chance to serve Auburn and the student body as the 2016-2017 Student Government Association Executive team. We are extremely humbled to step into these roles and are excited to represent such an incredible university. Auburn University does a remarkable job empowering students to let their voices be heard. It is our goal, as SGA, to ensure that student voice is always at the forefront of any decision-making process, and we want to be the avenue for students to be heard. We look forward to listening and working with students and administrators over the next year as we strive to make Auburn the best student experience in the country.
Jesse is a Finance major from Huntsville, Alabama. He has served in SGA as the Director of Transportation and EVP of Initiatives, Treasurer of his social fraternity, and is currently serving as a member of the War Eagle Girls and Plainsmen. Jesse is excited and humbled to advocate for students needs and serve Auburn through his role as SGA President.
Brandon is a Biomedical Sciences major from Huntsville, Alabama. He has served as a member of Freshman Forum and has since served as a three-time Senator for the College of Sciences and Mathematics. Brandon is humbled to be elected in this position and is excited to serve Auburn students through leading SGA’s legislative branch as Vice President.
James is a Biomedical Science major from Birmingham, Alabama. He has served in SGA as a Senator At-Large, a member of the Senate Budget and Finance Committee and the Verizon Wireless Chairperson. James is humbled to serve the student body through his role as the SGA Treasurer.

Emma Grace Laird
Emma Grace is a Junior majoring in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies and Spanish from Fort Worth, Texas. She has served as the Executive Director of The BIG Event, Assistant Director of Hey Day, and on Panhellenic Cabinet. Emma Grace is honored to serve the student body and SGA this year.
Executive Vice President of Initiatives
Trey is a Political Science major from Trussville, Alabama. He has served as a Senator for the College of Liberal Arts, the Assistant Vice President of Student Interests, and a Director of Student Feedback with SGA in the past. Trey is honored and humbled to advocate for and serve the student body’s needs as the EVP of Initiatives this year.
Executive Vice President of Programs
Hunter is from Hoover, Alabama and is majoring in Health Services Administration. He has served as Assistant Director of The BIG Event, Senator At-Large, Assistant Vice President of Programs, and as a Student Recruiter. Hunter is looking forward to serving students as the Executive Vice President of Programs.
Executive Vice President of Marketing and Engagement
Taylor is a Public Relations major from Mobile, Alabama. She has served as a Project Coordinator for The BIG Event, an Assistant Director for the Freshman Leadership Program LEAP, a Tigerette for Students of Auburn Recruiting, and the Director of Social Media for SGA. Taylor is excited and honored to serve the student body and SGA as the EVP of Marketing and Engagement this year.
Executive Vice President of Outreach
Harlan Bailey II
Harlan is an Agricultural Business and Economics major from Birmingham, Alabama. He has served as the Director of Research and Assessment for SGA, the Vice President of Kappa Alpha Psi, the Director of Leadership Small Groups, and as a Head Camp Counselor for Camp War Eagle. Harlan is excited to mold this new position for SGA and to utilize it to serve all of the student body.
