Undergraduate Research is a high-impact educational experience. Auburn University students who participate in undergraduate research receive multiple benefits that include a deeper understanding of a particular field of study or career path, enhanced preparation for graduate or professional school, and heightened self-confidence and creativity. Through undergraduate research, students are given the opportunity to apply knowledge learned in the classroom to their real-world passions.
The Undergraduate Research Board is a council of dedicated students within the Student Government Association that has the task of promoting the availability and awareness of research to and for undergraduates. The URB is a reminder to faculty and administrators that there is a passion for undergraduate research at Auburn University!
Applications to serve on Undergraduate Research Board go out each Fall.
