The Society of Physics Students at Auburn University

About the Society of Physics Students

Auburn’s Society of Physics Students (SPS) is a chapter in Zone 6 of the national Society of Physics Students association. Although many of our members pay dues and hold membership in the national association and it’s affiliated honor society Sigma Pi Sigma, this is not a requirement for students to join Auburn’s local chapter.

The Society of Physics Students is a professional organization centered around extending the field of physics beyond the classroom. Members are provided with an environment to develop invaluable connections with physics students, professors, and physics professionals from all over the United States.
