Climate Change: Elucidating its Existence and Global Impacts

Dr. Medina-Elizalde is a geoscientist who studies climate evolution with a focus on the thermal and hydrologic reconstruction of tropical regions and their sensitivity to greenhouse gases.  In this talk\, he will describe questions surrounding anthropogenic climate change\, examine the evidence that answers them\, and discuss relevant short and long-term climate change impacts that will continue shaping our future if greenhouse gases remained unabated. The event is free and open to the public and will be followed by a discussion and time for questions. Dr. Medina\'s talk is being hosted by the Auburn/Opelika chapter of the Citizens\' Climate Lobby.
