The ePortfolio Project offers several awards for exceptional work with ePortfolios.
This award recognizes exceptional professional ePortfolios created by Auburn University students. Auburn University faculty/staff members from all departments are invited to nominate up to two students (undergraduate and graduate) who have created distinguished ePortfolios. Students may also nominate themselves. The ePortfolios are evaluated utilizing the ePortfolio Project Rubric that is based on the four student learning outcomes of the project: effective communication, critical thinking through reflection, visual literacy, and technical competency.
This award recognizes individuals or teams of faculty members from a program, department, or college who have exhibited exemplary leadership in promoting the ePortfolio Project Faculty Cohort and have been engaged in practices that support the implementation of ePortfolios at Auburn University. The award is named in honor of Dr. Gary Brown, a national leader in innovative teaching and the use of ePortfolios as a tool for student learning.
Winning individuals will receive $2,500, with appropriate taxes deducted. For winning teams, each team member will receive $2,500 up to the maximum of $10,000 per team. If the team consists of more than four members, then the maximum $10,000 award amount will be divided equally among the team members.
