The newly-renovated Student Activities Center, on Biggio Drive, was completed in fall 2019 and will serve as a mid-size event space for events too large for the Student Center Ballroom, but too small for the Auburn Arena or Coliseum, expanding programming options for Auburn students.
A few accommodations include:
• up to 1,200 seats
• a pre-event and concession/merchandise space
• an expanded stage with new lighting
• theatre equipment and enhanced acoustics
The existing Student Activities Center, which was the precursor to Auburn’s new Recreation and Wellness Center, was built in 1984 as a facility intended for student recreation and sponsored events. Since the creation of the new Campus Rec, the building has transitioned its functions.
