University Program Council exists to educate, empower, unify, and serve the study body by creating high-quality events on campus. UPC consists of eight committees that are responsible for organizing events such as free movies, comedians, major concerts, workshops, cultural performances, and more. In addition, UPC’s Welcome Week committee coordinates with organizations, schools and colleges across campus to create a week of programming and events to welcome students back to campus at the beginning of each semester. Going beyond Welcome Week is The First 56; which allows students to be provided with opportunities to engage in and develop healthy behaviors during a critical time when habits are typically formed, their First 56 days on campus.

Fall 2021 Welcome Week will take place August 9-20, with The First 56 continuing through October 9. If you would like to submit an event form to be a campus partner with The First 56, please do so at  the event submission form. If you are still wanting to be a Welcome Week campus partner please email:
