Designing Landscapes with Trees

Are you ready to enhance your property with trees and want to learn more about how?  Join the curator of our new Tree Walk, Christine Paul, on Sunday, April 3rd at 2:00 pm.  Christine will take you on a tour of the Tree Walk, pointing out examples of tree species that you can use in your own landscape and explaining the pros and cons of each. You’ll get to ask all your tree landscaping questions and get some great tips and pointers.

Topics to be covered:– types of trees– uses of trees– flowering/fall color– berry/acorn/cone– average height– attractive form / bark for winter interest– best places to plant– habitat and food for wildlife

Handouts will be provided with a list of the trees on the walk including their various features.

This workshop is free and will last approximately 2 hours.  The walk is approximately 2 miles and sets off from the median in the main parking lot at 2:00 PM. Wear good walking shoes.
