2023: THU, FRI, & SAT; OCT 19, 20, & 21
Halloween at the Kreher Preserve & Nature Center now has two faces… Nature Nightmares, the scary sister to Halloween Enchanted Forest, is coming this October. Get ready to be terrified!
Nature Nightmares is a haunted hike through the pitch-black forest of the KPNC – a hike like you’ve never experienced before. With evil creatures lurking in the shadows and frightening entities waiting for wary visitors, we dare you to come and conquer the darkness!
Hikes depart every 10 minutes between 8:30 and 11 PM. Hikes last approximately 35 to 45 minutes and each time slot is limited to 15 people.
Tickets are $10 per person; must be 13 years of age or older (anyone under 19 years of age must be accompanied by an adult). 50% of tickets are available for presale. The remainder will be available for purchase on site on the day of the event. There are NO REFUNDS for this event. An entire time slot may be purchased for $125. If we sell out before closing on a particular day, we will let you know on our Facebook page to save you the drive.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a low-light flashlight. The trail is NOT lighted. Please do not shine your light in our actors’ faces. Our actors will not touch you or grab you, however someone in your group may grab or touch you out of sheer terror. Do not touch our actors.
Nature Nightmares is self-guided and contains high impact scares, fog, strobe lights, theatrical odors, and may not be suitable for epileptics, pregnant women, or those with a heart condition. Management reserves the right to remove any patron from the event with or without cause. No refunds.
This event will be postponed or cancelled in the event of inclement weather – please watch our Facebook page for updates.
