An Online Community for Visiting Scholars and Postdoctoral Fellows

Each year over 900 students and 300 scholars from over 80 nations participate in the Auburn experience.  This online resource is dedicated to helping visiting scholars connect and share their experiences as they move through their residency at Auburn and beyond. Postdoctoral Scholars Association (PSA) at Auburn University is dedicated in providing resources, information and representation for postdoctoral scholars. PSA aims to connect all the postdocs at AU through the website and social activities. PSA currently has over 40 members.

Art Exhibition at Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center June 3-30

18th Annual Juried Art Exhibition and Reception Auburn, Ala. – The 18th Annual Juried Art Exhibition will be on view at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center through June 30, 2016. On display in the main gallery, works by 32 area artists spanning all mediums except photography will be featured. A reception will be held Friday, June 3 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center to recognize the artists who submitted works for this show. The Auburn Indian Music Ensemble

The Auburn Indian Music Ensemble is a group of students that learns and plays traditional music of the Indian subcontinent. North Indian classical and semi-classical music emphasizes the intricate interplay of melody (Raga) and rhythm (Tala). Students learn several examples of this music in the classes at Auburn, and have performed in annual recitals. Directed by Dr. S. The International Scholar English Center (ISEC), a free English language tutoring service for international students, faculty and visiting scholars in all disciplines, conducts individual tutorial sessions by appointment.
